“The culture wars are being fought in virtually every sphere of life—government, business, law, politics, commerce, education, the sciences, media, the arts, entertainment, religion, marriage, family, health care, and popular culture to name just a few. Each of these spheres produces seemingly unrelated instances of cultural conflict. Yet, it is in the accumulation of such present-day moments of conflict that we gain an understanding and direction of the cultural drift. The purpose of these posts and the books I have written is to participate in the redemption of culture in all institutions of American life through sharing the truth of the biblical worldview which was at the heart of the nation’s founding and formed the central cultural vision by which it is to be governed.

In recognition of the national release of Gosnell – the Movie chronicling the discovery, prosecution, and incarceration of America’s biggest serial killer, this is the second article reposted which was originally published May 10, 2013 on culturewarror.net. The shame of the silent church – Passage of Oklahoma’s new marijuana law 2018
On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 56%+ of Oklahoma voters approved State Question No. 788 which legalized the licensed use, sale, and growth of marijuana in Oklahoma. Although described as allowing marijuana to be used for medical purposes, it is being called the most liberal state law in the nation in legalizing marijuana and is effectively an open door for recreational marijuana usage. According to one news report, approval by the voters occurred in spite of intense opposition from Oklahoma politicians, law enforcement officials, and churches.
